Big Idea: Use the television game of fear factor to teach kids not to be afraid of the challenges in life because the prize at the end is more than worth it!
Verse: I Corinthians 9:24, 25 “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.”

Big Idea: Satan has made sorcery, witchcraft, horoscopes, and the occult seem intriguing and exciting. While sorcerers can actually call on the powers of darkness to be convincing, they don't have any knowledge of the future. Getting involved with any form of witchcraft is both dangerous and futile.
Verse: Isaiah 8:19-20 “So why are you trying to find out the future by consulting mediums and psychics? Do not listen to their whisperings and mutterings. Can the living find out the future from the dead? Why not ask your God? "Check their predictions against my testimony," says the LORD. "If their predictions are different from mine, it is because there is no light or truth in them.”
- Hungry?
Big Idea: People are spiritually hungry. If teens don't fill up on the truth of God's Word, they will likely eat the lies of the world that are around them every day. Just like a mouse eating D-con, the lies will seem like good food at the time, but will eventually ruin their lives.
Verse: John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”

Everyone has problems. Everyone has seasons of intense trials. If we believers focus on ourselves in suffering, we get the glory and the world has no hope. If we focus on God and His goodness and faithfulness—He gets the glory. And the world has hope and a reason to believe.
- Boulders on your dreams
Using the fateful account of rock climber Aron Ralston, this is an inspiring lesson on how God has created us for a special purpose in this world, but there are boulders (obstacles) in the way, ones that will kill the God-sized dreams that we were made for. We must cut bravely cut ourselves loose from these obstacles to bring our God-given dreams to life.
- The Truth about our Future:
Truth breeds trust. When bad things happen, why are we inclined to blame God? God has not lied to people, people have lied to people about God. This topic explores the ways that Jesus prepared us to face difficult times by telling us the truth about the future of this world, but He has not left us without hope. Jesus has already won the battle over evil.
